Harps Etc. has a great home page and a great internal search engine. In addition to that, they have the best selection of harp accessories of all the other online harp stores. Because of these qualities and lots of other great features, Harps Etc. is the winner of the “TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award.”
The more we used the website, the more we realized how user-friendly the website is. We realized how well organized and user-friendly this site is the more we used it.
These are the features to look for on Harps Etc.:
- Gift certificates – Harps Etc. makes it very easy to send someone funds for purchasing products on the Harps Etc. website. If you want to send a friend or relative money, just access the site and click under “SPECIAL.”
- Partner program – Harps Etc. offers you a chance to list your products (CDs or other publications), teaching services, or harps on their website. Just send them to the address they list on the website.
- Teacher connection – If you’re a teacher, you can fill out a form on their website and you’ll get listed on their site. This will enable students to find you easily.
- Bounty program – Harps Etc. has a program that lets you can trade in your lever harp within five years and then you can upgrade to a pedal harp and receive 100% credit of the original purchase price towards your new pedal harp. And they make it easy. Simply fill out the form and they’ll contact you. They also feature a bounty program
- Hear before you buy – Harps Etc. lets you hear sound bites for every harp right on their website. They feature excerpts from songs, arpeggios and chords!!
- Harp news – Harps Etc. offers to send you news about harps. Simply sign up on their website.
- Kids’ accessory collection – We were very excited about this collection since we didn’t see it on any of the other websites. They offer books, cookie cutters, pencils and musical flashcards – all for children!
- Harp Academy – Students in the Harp Academy study music theory and performance. For those who need it, there is scholarship assistance available.
- Online shopping – Only a few of the websites we visited offered online shopping, but Harps, Etc.’s interface was the easiest to use and all items could be purchased online.
- Free monthly harp classes – On the second Saturday of each month, you can go to Harps, Etc. and try out their harps, regardless of your level. Simply call to make your reservation.
- Events – Check out the events section when you visit Harps Etc. They feature harp classes, conferences, and auditions.
- Harp Doctor – Harps Etc. has a Harp Doctor available at their store on the last Friday of every month. Just call the 1-800 number to book an appointment for your harp.
- Recommended products list – When you click on a harp, you can also find out what the other purchasers of this harp got to go along with their harp, like what music the harp purchaser wanted to play.
